Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
