T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 Allah there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah there is no God except I therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
