T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
