T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen thee, so hearken unto that which is inspired. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
