T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 Have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 I Am your Lord. Take off your shoes; you are in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
