T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 And I have chosen thee, so hearken unto that which is inspired. 13 I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
