T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
