T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
