T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,- 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
