T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 I Am your Lord. Take off your shoes; you are in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 Moses answered: "This is my staff. I lean on it (when I walk), and with it I beat down leaves for my flock, and I have many other uses for it." 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 "Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
