T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
