T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 When he approached it, a voice called out: 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 And what is in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
