Said [Moses]: "O my Sustainer! Open up my heart [to Thy light,] 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we exalt You 33 "And remember You much, 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 It is He who made the earth a bed for you, and traced for you paths upon it, and sends down water from the sky, and brings out through it every kind of vegetation 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
