Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 so that we may glorify 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
