Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 To strengthen me 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we exalt You 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
