He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
