'Lord, open my breast,' said Moses, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 Harun, my brother. 30 Increase through him my strength 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 "And remember You much, 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
