He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Harun, my brother. 30 By him confirm my strength 31 And let him share my task 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
