Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and ease my task for me, 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron my brother 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 And let him share my task 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 You are Well Aware of our situation." 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
