Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron my brother 30 Increase through him my strength 31 And let him share my task 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 and remember You much: 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for Me. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
