He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And make my mission easy. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 Surely You know us well." 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
