(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 And ease for me my task 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron my brother 30 By him confirm my strength 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
