Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
