Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159]. 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Increase through him my strength 31 "And make him share my task: 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 And remember you a great deal. 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said, “Do not fear I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
