And certainly Haroun had said to them before: O my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent Allah, therefore follow me and obey my order. 90 They said "So long as Moses does not come back we are not going to give it up, and we will remain devoted to it." 91 (After rebuking his people) Moses turned to Aaron and said: "Aaron! What prevented you, when you saw them going astray, 92 Did you disobey my orders?" 93 'Son of my mother,' Aaron said, 'take me not by the beard, or the head! I was fearful that thou wouldst say, "Thou hast divided the Children of Israel, and thou hast not observed my word." 94 He said: What was then your object, O Samiri? 95 He said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me." 96 He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea. 97 Your Allah is only Allah, there is no god but He; He comprehends all things in (His) knowledge. 98 Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an. 99 Whoso turneth away from it, he verily will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection, 100 therein abiding forever; how evil upon the Day of Resurrection that burden for them! 101 The Day whereon the trumpet will be blown into, and We shall gather the culprits on that Day blear-eyed, 102 In whispers will they consult each other: "Yet tarried not longer than ten (Days); 103 We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!" 104

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
