And assuredly Harun had said unto them afore: O my people! ye are only being tempted thereby; and verily your Lord is the Compassionate; so follow me and obey my command. 90 They replied: 'We will not stop; we will cling to it until Moses returns to us.' 91 (Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong, 92 from [abandoning them and] following me? Hast thou, then, [deliberately] disobeyed my commandment?" 93 'Son of my mother' he replied, 'Do not seize my beard nor my head. I was afraid that you might say: "You have divided the Children of Israel and did not uphold my word." 94 Said [Moses]: "What, then, didst thou have in view, O Samaritan?" 95 He replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me." 96 'Begone! Your lot in this life is to cry: "untouchable!' said he (Moses). 'An appointment awaits you that you cannot fail to keep. Look at your god which you clung to indeed we will burn it and scatter its ashes upon the sea' 97 Your god is only Allah, except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge." 98 This is how We relate the former tidings to you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); and We have given you a Remembrance* from Ourselves. (*The Holy Qur’an.) 99 Whosoever has turned away from it shall bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection. 100 and live in it for ever; how evil will that burden be for them on the Day of Resurrection. 101 On the day when the trumpet shall be blown, and We will gather the guilty, blue-eyed, on that day 102 They will murmur among themselves, "You remained not but ten [days in the world]." 103 We know well what they will utter, whereas the wisest among them will say, “You have stayed just for a day.” 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
