They ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust; 105 "He will leave them as plains smooth and level; 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 On that day they follow the summoner who deceiveth not, and voices are hushed for the Beneficent, and thou hearest but a faint murmur. 108 On that day shall no intercession avail except of him whom the Beneficent Allah allows and whose word He is pleased with. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not comprehend it in knowledge. 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 but those who have believed and done good works shall fear neither wrong nor injustice. 112 That is why We have sent it down as an eloquent Qur'an, and explained in different ways the intimidations through it that they may haply take heed, or perhaps it may lead them to contemplate. 113 So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." 114 And indeed before this We made a covenant with Adam, so he forgot, and We did not find its intention (in him). 115
