And they ask thee regarding the mountains; so say thou: my Lord will scatter them with a total scattering. 105 Then leave it a plain, smooth level 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march). 108 On that day no intercession will matter other than his whom Ar-Rahman grants permission and accepts. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they comprehend Him not in knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 The righteously striving believers should have no fear of being treated with injustice or inequity. 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 [Know,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth and [knowing this,] do not approach the Qur'an in haste, ere it has been revealed unto thee in full, but [always] say: "O my Sustainer, cause me to grow in knowledge! 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
