Al-Anbyaa' 3 of 7
Do not those who deny the truth see that the heavens and the earth were joined together and that We then split them asunder? And that We have made every living thing out of water? Will they still not believe? 30 And We have placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake with them; and We kept wide roads in it, so that they may find guidance. 31 And we have made the sky a roof withheld (from them). Yet they turn away from its portents. 32 It is God who has created the night, the day, the Sun, and Moon and has made them swim in a certain orbit. 33 (O Muhammad), We did not grant everlasting life to any human being even before you. If you were to die, will they live for ever? 34 Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned. 35 When the unbelievers behold thee, they take thee only for mockery: 'Ha, is this the one who makes mention of your gods?' Yet they in the Remembrance of the All-merciful are unbelievers. 36 The human was created of haste. Indeed, I will show you My signs; so do not ask Me to hasten them. 37 But they [who reject My messages are wont to] ask, "When is that promise [of God's judgment] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 38 If only the disbelievers realised the time when they will not be able to stop the fire from their faces and from their backs – and nor are they to be helped. 39 In fact it will suddenly come upon them, therefore shocking them, and they will not be able to repel it nor will they be given respite. 40 They mocked the Messengers who were sent before you; thus, the torment which they had ridiculed encompassed them all. 41

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
