Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7
Say: "Who can guard and protect you in the night or in the day from the (punishment of the) Most Beneficent (Allah)?" Nay, but they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Do they have any gods who would protect them against Us? They have no power even to help themselves; nor do they enjoy Our support. 43 Nay, but We gave these and their fathers ease until life grew long for them. See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? Can they then be the victors? 44 Say, "I warn you only through the Revelation." But the deaf can hear nothing when they are warned, 45 And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers. 46 We shall set up just scales on the Day of Resurrection so that none will be wronged in the least. (We shall bring forth the acts of everyone), even if it be the weight of a grain of mustard seed. We shall suffice as Reckoners. 47 And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous 48 These who fear their Lord unseen, and who are of the Hour fearful. 49 And this is an admonition blest, which We have sent down! will ye then be the rejectors thereof? 50
