Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7

Ask them, "Who can protect them from (the wrath of) the Beneficent God during the night and day?" Yet they are neglectful about their Lord. 42 Have they gods who defend them beside Us? They are not able to succour themselves, and against Us they cannot be kept company with. 43 Nay, but Ourselves gave these and their fathers enjoyment of days, until their life had lasted long while upon them. What, do they not see how We come to the land, diminishing it in its extremities? Or are they the victors? 44 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I warn you only with the divine revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call when warned.” 45 Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers." 46 And We shall set balances of justice for the Day of Judgment; then no soul shall be wronged at all; and if it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed We shall bring it; and We suffice as Reckoners. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the Salvation and a Radiance, and a Remembrance for the godfearing 48 Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive. 49 And this is a blessed Remembrance that We have sent down; so are you now denying it? 50
