Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7

Say thou: who guardeth you by night and by day from the Compassionate? Yet from the remembrance of their Lord they avert themselves! 42 Have they gods who defend them beside Us? They are not able to succour themselves, and against Us they cannot be kept company with. 43 Nay, but We gave these and their fathers ease until life grew long for them. See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? Can they then be the victors? 44 Say, "I only warn you by revelation." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 And yet, if but a breath of thy Sustainer's chastisement touches them, they are sure to cry, "Oh, woe unto us! Verily, we were evildoers!" 46 And We shall set balances of justice for the Day of Judgment; then no soul shall be wronged at all; and if it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed We shall bring it; and We suffice as Reckoners. 47 And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 And this is a blessed Reminder (the Quran) which We have sent down, will you then (dare to) deny it? 50
