۞ AND, INDEED, long before [the time of Moses] We vouchsafed unto Abraham his consciousness of what is right; and We were aware of [what moved] him 51 When he asked his father and his people, "What are these images to which you are so devoted?" 52 They said, “We found our forefathers worshipping them.” 53 He said: assuredly ye, ye and your fathers, have been in error manifest. 54 They said, 'What, hast thou come to us with the truth, or art thou one of those that play?' 55 He said: Aye! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth Who created them, and as to that I am of the witnesses. 56 And, by Allah, I shall circumvent your idols after ye have gone away and turned your backs. 57 He broke them all into pieces, except for the biggest one of them, so that they might return to it [for enquiry]. 58 'Who has done this to our gods' they exclaimed. 'He must surely be a harmdoer' 59 Said some [of them]: "We heard a youth speak of these [gods with scorn]: he is called Abraham." 60 They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness." 61 They said, "Abraham, was it you who did this to our deities?" 62 He said, 'No; it was this great one of them that did it. Question them; if they are able to speak!' 63 So they turned towards their own selves and (inwardly) said, “Indeed you yourselves are unjust.” 64 With their heads cast down they said, "Abraham, you know that idols do not speak. How then can you ask such a question?" 65 Said [Abraham]: "Do you then worship, instead of God, something that cannot benefit you in any way, nor harm you? 66 Fie on you and all that ye worship instead of Allah! Have ye then no sense? 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 We said, 'O fire, be coolness and safety for Abraham!' 69 And they wished to cause him harm, so We made them the greatest of losers. 70 And We rescued him and Lut towards the land which We have blessed for the entire world. 71 And We bestowed him Ishaq, and Yaqub the grandson; and We made all of them worthy of Our proximity. 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). 73 To Lot, We gave judgment and knowledge and saved him from the village that had been committing corrupt deeds; for they were an evil nation and were debauched. 74 We admitted him to Our Mercy, he was among the righteous. 75

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
