Al-Anbyaa' 5 of 7
۞ And We verily gave Abraham of old his proper course, and We were Aware of him, 51 when he said to his father and his people, 'What are these statues unto which you are cleaving?' 52 They said, 'We found our fathers serving them.' 53 He said: "You and your fathers were in clear error." 54 They said: "Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play about?" 55 He said: "Nay, but your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth which He created and to that I bear witness before you. 56 “And, by oath of Allah, I shall seek to harm your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs.” 57 So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question]. 58 (When they saw the idols in this state) they said: "Who has done this to our gods? Surely he is one of the wrong-doers." 59 They said: We heard a youth speak of them, who is called Ibrahim. 60 They said, “Therefore bring him in front of the people, perhaps they may testify.” 61 They said: art thou the one who hath wrought this unto our gods, O Ibrahim? 62 He said, 'No; it was this great one of them that did it. Question them; if they are able to speak!' 63 So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers." 64 Thereafter they were made to turn over upon their heads, saying, assuredly thou knowest that they speak not. 65 Abraham said: "Do you, then, worship beside Allah a thing that can neither benefit you nor hurt you? 66 Fie on you and those you worship besides God! Will you not understand?" 67 They said: "Burn him and help your aliha (gods), if you will be doing." 68 We said, “O fire, become cool and peaceful upon Ibrahim.” 69 Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most! 70 And We saved him and Lot [and brought them] to a land which We had blessed for all people, 71 We granted him Isaac and Jacob as a gift and helped both of them to become righteous people. 72 and made them leaders who would guide [others] in accordance with Our behest: for We inspired them [with a will] to do good works, and to be constant in prayer, and to dispense charity: and Us [alone] did they worship. 73 And We gave Lut the kingdom and knowledge, and We rescued him from the township that committed vile deeds; indeed those evil people were disobedient. 74 and We admitted him into Our mercy; he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
