۞ AND, INDEED, long before [the time of Moses] We vouchsafed unto Abraham his consciousness of what is right; and We were aware of [what moved] him 51 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: what are these images to which ye are cleaving? 52 They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 He said, 'Then assuredly you and your fathers have been in manifest error.' 54 They said, "Have you brought us the truth or are you jesting?" 55 He answered: "Nay, but your [true] Sustainer is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth - He who has brought them into being: and I am one of those who bear witness to this [truth]!" 56 And, by Allah, I shall circumvent your idols after ye have gone away and turned your backs. 57 He shattered them all, except the biggest among them, that perhaps they may question it. 58 They asked (on return): "Who has done this to our gods? He is surely a mischief-monger." 59 They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham." 60 They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness." 61 They said, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?" 62 "No," he said. "It was done by that chief of theirs. Ask him in case they can speak." 63 So they returned one to another saying, 'Surely, it is you who are the harmdoers' 64 then they hung their heads, and said, "O Abraham! You know they cannot speak." 65 (So Abraham) said: "Then why do you worship something apart from God that cannot profit you or do you harm? 66 Shame on you and on whatever you worship instead of God. Can you not understand?" 67 They said: Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do (anything). 68 We said, “O fire, become cool and peaceful upon Ibrahim.” 69 and whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We caused them to suffer the greatest loss: 70 And We rescued him and Lut towards the land which We have blessed for the entire world. 71 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). 73 And (remember) Lout (Lot), We gave him Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khaba'ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient, to Allah). 74 Thus We admitted him to Our grace. He is surely one of the righteous. 75

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
