۞ Before this We gave Abraham his virtue, for We knew him. 51 When he said to his father and his people: What are these images to whose worship you cleave? 52 They said, "We found our fathers worshippers of them." 53 He said: "You and your fathers were in clear error." 54 They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?" 55 He answered: "Nay, but your [true] Sustainer is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth - He who has brought them into being: and I am one of those who bear witness to this [truth]!" 56 By the Lord, I will devise a plan against your deities after you have gone away and turned your backs!" 57 And then he broke those [idols] to pieces, [all] save the biggest of them, so that they might [be able to] turn to it. 58 They said: who hath wrought this to our gods? verily he is of the wrong-doers. 59 They said: "We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham)." 60 They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness." 61 (On Abraham's arrival) they said: "Abraham, are you he who has done this to our gods?" 62 He said: rather he hath wrought it, this big one of them; so question them, if they ever speak. 63 And so they turned upon one another, saying, "Behold, it is you who are doing wrong." 64 then they hung their heads, and said, "O Abraham! You know they cannot speak." 65 He said, 'What, and do you serve, apart from God, that which profits you nothing; neither hurts you? 66 Woe to you for what you worship instead of God. Have you no understanding?" 67 They said, "Burn him and help your deities, if you are resolved to do something." 68 We said to the fire, "Be cool and peaceful (with Abraham)". 69 They sought to outwit him, but We made them the worst of losers. 70 But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations. 71 And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub, a son's son, and We made (them) all good. 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). 73 We bestowed upon Lot sound judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the city that was immersed in foul deeds. They were indeed a wicked people, exceedingly disobedient. 74 We encompassed him in Our mercy; he was a righteous man. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
