3/4 Hizb 33

And Noah -- when he called before, and We answered him, and delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We succoured him against the people who belied Our signs; verily they were a people evil, so we drowned them all. 77 We bestowed the same favour upon David and Solomon. Recall, when they gave judgement regarding a tillage into which the sheep of some people had strayed at night, and We were witnesses to their judgement. 78 So We gave the understanding thereof unto Sulaiman; and unto each We vouchsafed judgment and knowledge. And We so subjected the mountains that they shall hallow us along with Daud, and also the birds; and We were the doers. 79 And We taught him to make a garment for you, to protect you from your hurt; so will you be thankful? 80 And to Solomon the wind, strongly blowing, that ran at his command unto the land that We had blessed; and We had knowledge of everything; 81 And We subdued many devils who dived (into the sea) for him and carried out other jobs besides that. We kept watch over all of them. 82 ۞ And Job, when he cried unto his Lord, (saying): Lo! adversity afflicteth me, and Thou art Most Merciful of all who show mercy. 83 We heard his prayer and relieved his suffering, We restored to him his family, doubling their number as an act of Our grace, and as a reminder for the worshippers. 84 And (remember) Isma'il, Idris, and Zul-kifl, all (men) of constancy and patience; 85 And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous. 86 And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the deptHs of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!" 87 So We responded to him and delivered him from the grief and thus do We deliver the believers. 88 And Zachariah -- when he called unto his Lord, 'O my Lord, leave me not solitary; though Thou art the best of inheritors.' 89 We answered his prayer and granted him his son, John, by making his wife fruitful. They were people who would compete with each other in good deeds and pray to Us with love and reverence. With Us they were all humble people. 90 And (remember) she who guarded her chastity [Virgin Maryam (Mary)], We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) [through Our Ruh - Jibrael (Gabriel)], and We made her and her son ['Iesa (Jesus)] a sign for Al-'Alamin (the mankind and jinns). 91 Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion (only), and I am your Lord, therefore serve Me. 92 And they have broken their religion (into fragments) among them, (yet) all are returning unto Us. 93
