So whoever does some good deeds, and is a believer, then his efforts will not be ignored; and We are recording it. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come! 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they will hear not. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 They shall not hear the least sound thereof, and in that felicity which their souls desire they shall be abiders. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance: 'The righteous among My worshipers shall inherit the earth' 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 If they turn away, say to them: "I have warned you all alike; and I cannot say whether what you have been promised is near or distant. 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 Nor do I know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
