Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 Had the idols been true lords, they would not have gone to hell. "All of you will live therein forever". 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed. 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth: 105 Verily in this is a preaching for a people who are worshippers. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 “Indeed Allah knows whatever is said, and knows all what you conceal.” 110 I do not know (why God has commanded me to warn you of the torment). Perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time". 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
