And whosoever does deeds of righteousness, being a believer, no unthankfulness shall befall his endeavour; We Ourselves write it down for him. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 the greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them: 'This is your day that you were promised.' 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 This is a lesson for those who worship (God). 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 (Say O Muhammad SAW) Verily, He (Allah) knows that which is spoken aloud (openly) and that which you conceal. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
