Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
And whosoever does deeds of righteousness, being a believer, no unthankfulness shall befall his endeavour; We Ourselves write it down for him. 94 And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us). 95 Even when Gog and Magog are let loose and they shall break forth from every elevated place. 96 And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust." 97 Verily ye and whatsoever ye worship beside Allah shall be firewood for Hell: thereunto ye shall go down. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it; yet every one of them shall therein abide forever;' 99 There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 they shall be, kept far from it neither shall they hear any whisper of it, and they shall dwell forever in that their souls desired; 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Verily in this is a preaching for a people who are worshippers. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 God surely knows what you say openly and also knows what you conceal. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
