And yet, whoever does [the least] of righteous deeds and is a believer withal, his endeavour shall not be disowned: for, behold, We shall record it in his favour. 94 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, 95 Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. 96 And the true promise shall draw nigh, then lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be fixedly open: O woe to us! surely we were in a state of heedlessness as to this; nay, we were unjust. 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever. 99 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear. 100 But those to whom We have already promised blessings will be far away from hell. 101 they will not hear the slightest sound of it, and they shall forever abide in a state of bliss, among everything their souls longed for. 102 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." 103 The day We shall roll up the heavens like a written scroll, We shall revert it (to nothing) as it was before We first created it. This is a promise incumbent on Us; We will certainly fulfil it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." 111 Say: "O my Sustainer! Judge Thou in truth!" - and [say]: "Our Sustainer is the Most Gracious, the One whose aid is ever to be sought against all your [attempts at] defining [Him]!" 112
