The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 It is ordained that no nation We have destroyed shall ever rise again, 95 Even when Gog and Magog are let loose and they shall break forth from every elevated place. 96 And the true promise (Day of Resurrection) shall draw near (of fulfillment). Then (when mankind is resurrected from their graves), you shall see the eyes of the disbelievers fixedly stare in horror. (They will say): "Woe to us! We were indeed heedless of this; nay, but we were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.)." 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 Had the idols been true lords, they would not have gone to hell. "All of you will live therein forever". 99 Theirs therein shall be roaring, and therein they shall hear not. 100 Verily those for whom the good reward hath preceded from Us, they therefrom shall be kept far away. 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 The Hour of the Great Terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them saying: "This is your Day which you had been promised." 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Most surely in this is a message to a people who serve 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 "Verily, He knows all that is said openly, just as He [alone] knows all that you would conceal. 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge Thou with truth! And our Lord is the All-merciful; His succour is ever to be sought against that you describe.' 112
