Say, "O people, I am sent only to give you clear warning." 49 And [know that] those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall be granted forgiveness of sins and a most excellent sustenance; 50 But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire. 51 Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom: 52 [That is] so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. 53 (He also does this) in order that those endowed with knowledge may know that it is the Truth from your Lord and that they may have faith in it and their hearts may humble themselves before Him. Verily Allah always directs those that believe to the Right Way. 54 The unbelievers will continue to doubt the Quran until the Hour of Doom suddenly sizes them or the torment of the last day strikes them. 55 The kingdom on that day shall be Allah's; He will judge between them; so those who believe and do good will be in gardens of bliss. 56 whereas for those who were bent on denying the truth and gave the lie to Our messages, there shall be shameful suffering in store. 57
