Art thou not aware that it is God who has made subservient to you all that is on earth, and the ships that sail through the sea at His behest - and [that it is He who] holds the celestial bodies [in their orbits,] so that they may not fall upon the earth otherwise than by His leave? Verily, God is most compassionate towards men, a dispenser of grace 65 And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful. 66 For every nation We have appointed a Holy Rite which they shall perform. Do not let them dispute with you concerning the matter. Call to your Lord; surely, you are upon a Straight Path. 67 And if they dispute with you, say: "Allah knows well what you do. 68 Allah will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning that wherein ye have been differing. 69 Didst thou not know that God knows all that is in heaven and earth? Surely that is in a Book; surely that for God is an easy matter. 70 And they worship besides Allah that for which He has not sent down authority and that of which they have no knowledge. And there will not be for the wrongdoers any helper. 71 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, you will see traces of anger in the faces of the disbelievers; possibly they may attack those who recite Our verses to them; say, “Shall I show you what is worse than your current state? That is the fire! Allah has promised it to the disbelievers; and what a wretched place to return!” 72
