O men, a similitude is struck; so give you ear to it. Surely those upon whom you call, apart from God, shall never create a fly, though they banded together to do it; and if a fly should rob them of aught, they would never rescue it from him. Feeble indeed alike are the seeker and the sought! 73 They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. 74 God chooses messengers from the angels and human beings. Verily God is all-hearing and all-seeing. 75 He knows what lies ahead of them and what is behind them. All things shall return to God. 76 O YOU who have attained to faith! Bow down and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Sustainer [alone,] and do good, so that you might attain to a happy state! ۩ 77 Struggle for Allah as is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not laden a burden upon you in your religion, being the Creed of Abraham your father. He has named you Muslims before and in this so that the Messenger (Muhammad) can be a witness for you, and in order that you be witnesses against mankind. Therefore, establish the prayer and pay the obligatory charity and hold fast to Allah. He is your Guardian, the Excellent Guardian, the Excellent Helper! 78
