People, this is a parable, listen to it. Those whom you call upon, other than Allah, could never create a fly, though they banded together to do this. And if a fly robs them of anything, they could never rescue it from it. The seeker and the sought are alike in their weakness. 73 They did not realise the importance of Allah as was His right; indeed Allah is Almighty, Dominant. 74 God chooses Messengers from both angels and human beings. God is All-hearing and All-aware. 75 He knows what lies ahead of them and what is behind them. All things shall return to God. 76 O YOU who have attained to faith! Bow down and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Sustainer [alone,] and do good, so that you might attain to a happy state! ۩ 77 And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper! 78
