The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 and from idle talk turn away 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 Those are the heirs 10 that will inherit the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide. 11 And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then verily, thereafter, ye are sure to die. 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 And behold, in the cattle [too] there is indeed a lesson for you: We give you to drink of that [milk] which is within their bellies; and you derive many [other] uses from them: for, you eat of their flesh, 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
