The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 who turn away from idle talk; 3 Who are active in deeds of charity; 4 and restrain their carnal desires 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 But those who covet more than this will be transgressors; 7 And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges. 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 as well as a tree that issues from [the lands adjoining] Mount Sinai, yielding oil and relish for all to eat. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
