The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blissful are the believers 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 and guard their private parts 5 Except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess, for then there is no blame upon them. 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 who are true to their trusts and their covenants, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit Paradise, and live in it for ever. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 Then verily, thereafter, ye are sure to die. 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 We made several highways one over the other above you. We are not neglectful of creation. 17 And We sent down from the heaven water in measure, and We caused it to settle in the earth; and verily to take it away We are Able. 18 With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),- 19 Also, a tree which grows on the Tor of Sinai and gives oil and relish for its eaters. 20 And verily in the cattle for you is a lesson. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are advantages many, and of them ye eat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
